The Great American Race

I am infatuated with the Great American Race. The competition is tougher at Daytona than anywhere else; it’s loaded with excitement and a rush of senses anticipating challenge and danger. The race track itself, it’s a showcase of speeding cars being in close quarters, bumping and banging, a mayhem that I just can’t look away from. The energy of people cheering, the multiple colors merging with each other through speed, it’s a painting in movement… and that’s my inspiration for creating this piece that celebrates an incredible family tradition.
